Parley's purpose is to build relationships that catalyse growth in a sustainable way
Approach & History
Phil was only coached when he was approaching the end of his career. He wasn’t coached when he became a partner, a leader, a board member, during integration at his second firm, and neither were those around him. Getting change and leadership support is so obvious. Phil founded Parley to be an instrument for bringing best in class support to people and businesses. It is his firm view that the impact of well coached individuals is as much for those around the person coached as for the coachee themselves. Good coaching can help to breed new cultures.
He is collaborating with other consultants and coaches and is able to deliver a bench of coaching experts if the project requires it, but Parley will be his platform to build relationships and help individuals and businesses realise potential. The focus of Parley is on leaders who want to go further.
Values
At the heart of Parley’s coaching is a belief in human potential. Business leaders and their stakeholders are often in thrall to false dawn certainties and pay insufficient attention to the potential of human capital to drive growth. Command and control leadership will increasingly appear insecure. Realistic, experienced, “business -smart” coaching will be invaluable to the transition.
Phil Sanderson
“I made many mistakes as a leader but was lucky to work with great teams and learn from them. The greatest lesson? The imperative in what I believe Parley provides. Challenging, empathetic, business-smart support.”
